The Police – So Lonely


The Police are a three-piece rock band consisting of bassist/lead vocalist Sting (Gordon Sumner), guitarist Andy Summers, and drummer Stewart Copeland. The band became globally popular in the early 1980s, playing a style of rock that was influenced by jazz, reggae, and punk music.

    Yes, @swanski100, by all means check out The Answer only if you want a modern band who sound like the bands of 40 years ago. Fine if that’s your thing – Electric Mary is another great band in that vein.

    If you want a modern band that is doing something NEW on the other hand, check out Cog, Karnivool, The Butterfly Effect or Dead Letter Circus. Like @dinotic said, the underground scene is better than ever.

    I was at the beach 3 days ago and a band formed w about 4 ‘children’ aged 12-14 , they rocked it out! They played police songs , michael jackson songs and stuff like that. It still gives me the thrills that there’s actually young talent on the world (I’m young too tbh). This song reminds me of them everytime.
