@TheStrawbeery It’s so good to know, I always felt like I was just out here grooving to a lost art once called music. LOL! You and I are a rarity brother. But just keep on representing and know that people out there are missing the most beautiful and free gift of all…..music that stirs the soul. Take care
@haweye79 You know what else? If you notice the musicians in the background…they are actually playing instruments. LMAO! It’s like; most tunes there are all these background instruments but where are they?
I wanna see guitar-strings actually being strummed !
@JJJZANESVILLE2 You got that right. This type of song makes me feel…shall I say… Alive? Lol! No seriously, I am soooo tired of mind-numbing monotones I could just scream! ! !
@sharonrnanceful guess what i’m a brother and i love this song and i will never say what a sister listening to this song this real music and this is great music. not like this garbage music they putting out today
love this song, but come on. Why do the original police songs have much less views than this? Songs like walking on the moon and of course KING OF PAIN.
First of all Sting wrote this song with some bad @ss brotha’s, But I agree with you Sharonmanceful, good music is good music…..If there’s a difference between black & white it’s that we can give props where props is due………Smile
@ sharonrnanceful, rock on sistah, you are right aint nothing wrong listening to sting if you are a sistah. Besides Sting’s music has been influenced by jazz and soul
I bought this song/record when it came out thanks to this video. The band and those sisters in there looking good and working it caught my attention not to mention this hot song. I still have it but I haven’t seen this vidoe in years. Thanks for posting it.
What he’s saying in this song is: Don’t try to possess someone. Many make the mistake of limiting the object of their love to just their own limited control.
Wow, this takes me back. I had an opportunity to go on a date with Sting’s bass player, Darrel Jones. I interned at a TV station that covered Sting and the group playing soccer on the University of New Orleans soccer field. I asked for his autograph and he (Darryl) signed it, “Would you have dinner with me tonight?” That night I met Sting and the entire group. Sting told me that he used to be a teacher. The conversation was short but with substance. The date wasn’t so bad, either.
Excellent X and True!
Sting is the baddest white boy on the planet.
