Roxanne – Comcast Center 2008 LIVE
The fourteenth song of the Police concert at the Comcast Center. Come on, "Roxanne" is one of their biggest hits. It would be a shock if they DIDN'T play it. :p Anyways, there are two major versions of this song, stemming from Sting's ideas on the song versus the band as a whole. Sting views this as more of a tango song, while the band sees it as a rock song. Since this is a Police concert, the version played here is the rock version. Just like the previous video, you may hear me singing along with Sting, or filling in during pauses in the singing. Hee hee! And, I know I put "prostitution" as one of the tags, but that's because the song's about a prostitute. What do you THINK Sting means by "walking the streets for money"? I SWEAR, if this gets connected to any S&M-related horror shows, I'm going to be raising Cain!!! (And just to be safe, I'm going to have to approve any video responses before they come up...)
