    sometimes when life is sad a few notes of music can still touch our souls and remind us how wonderful life can be.

    no i wasnt responding to someone who said that this song should be used for twilight. no way. this song is way too good for twilight. it fits interview more.

    Twillight? Don’t you mean Interview with the Vampire?

  13. Posted by lordof7 on August 1st, 2010 at 1:00 pm

    @sm414l yeah maybe but i Like Cruise as Lestat:)

    i also thought werewolves. Because of the moon.

    this song should stay away from twilight. they have nothing in common.

    I disagree. Personally, I think they could have picked a better actor for the role of Lestat instead of Cruise–and they did, actually, for Queen of the Damned–but the casting of Pitt as Louis for Interview with the Vampire was perfect.

    @Mehiyo …actually I just finsihed reading Interview With the Vampire about 2 weeks ago for first time. I thought it was so beautifully written it has now become my favorite book and I am now reading The Vampire Lestat.

    @CaptainGrevious – I agree with you completely, he portrayed the anguished, confused soul of Louis beautifully.

    The movie will never compare to such an amazing, mesmerizing book, but Pitt as Louis Pointe du Lac was defiantly something to witness.

    @Rosaliee7
    Your language is beautiful, and far beyond English.

    Cruise is perfect Lestat but Pitt’s role could be played by someone else. Depp maybe

  22. Posted by CaptainGrevious on August 1st, 2010 at 5:48 pm

    @Rainbowmist1962 -Depp would have made a fine Lestat or Armand. I can’t see him as Louis however. I am no Pitt fan but I must say he mesmerized me as Louis. His beauty and tortured demeanor were exactly fitting for the role.

    i agree. johnny depp as louis and nicholas cage as lestat. i know sounds weird, but nicholas cage has that whole sexy, drooped eyelid vibe.

    Je trouve la mélodie sarcastique et nostalgique à la fois..

    I’d heard that rumour before, and I’ve always wondered (if indeed it is true) what Depp’s reasons might have been…
